At Matrix Tax & Financial Services, our mission is clear, to be your firm of choice for personal and business tax return preparation, bookkeeping, payroll, retirement and college planning, and insurance products to protect you and your family.
We believe the best way to serve our clients is by providing prompt, professional and personal service that support the attainment of our clients personal and business goals and objectives. We want to provide each of our clients with the personalized attention they deserve.
Over the past year we have grown and created a team that
is committed to the same level of quality and attention to detail that hasbeen
our focus since our beginning. Our
team includes a member who has an earned Masters of Liberal Arts in English and
Literature and has taught high school language arts.
Another member has extensive personnel and marketing experience and a
background in commercial real estate. All team members are college graduates and
proficient in English, Microsoft Office products and other windows based
software packages.
At the request of our clients we have expanded our
services to include marketing, writing website content, press releases, manuals
and business correspondence. We
also provide proofreading and editing of documents for content, spelling,
grammar and punctuation.

Our Beginning
Our company began in 1994 providing accounting, tax and payroll
services for small to medium sized companies under the name AccountAbilities. In 1997 I was unexpectedly offered a controller position with a convenience store company and spent four successful years with them before accepting a controller position with a larger company. During that time I continued to operated AccountAbilities on a part-time basis. Many of my clients stayed with me during this period and I continued to do tax returns for them and a few others. In 2006 I once again took the business full-time and immediately began a consulting engagement with a large, international manufacturing company to support their conversion to SAP. |
